Joseph Gordon-Levitt honored his 10 Things I Hate About You co-stars in a throwback post Thursday.

The 37-year-old actor shared a picture with Julia Stiles, Heath Ledger and Laria Oleynik on the set of the 1999 movie.

Ledger, who played Patrick Verona, died at age 28 in January 2008. Gordon-Levitt portrayed Cameron James in the film, which is based on the William Shakespeare play The Taming of the Shrew.

"I remember that day :) #tbt," Gordon-Levitt captioned the snapshot on Instagram.

Stiles, who portrayed Kat Stratford, previously said in an interview with Us Weekly that working with Gordon-Levitt and her co-stars was her favorite part of 10 Things I Hate About You.

"It was such a fun summer and such a pure experience of working on a movie where we were all — this was our first big break," she said. "We were really open and invested and it was really fun being in Seattle."

Stiles said she keeps in touch with Gordon-Levitt and Oleynik, and remembered Ledger as an "amazing" person.

"Amazing, amazing he was so nice. He was such a force," she said. "He was ... even at that age a very, very powerful, lovely human being."

Gordon-Levitt will next star in the movie 7500.
