450 UHV Students to Graduate Saturday

They've done their time. They've paid their debt to society. Wait a minute, that's something else entirely. I'm talking about the students who will get their diplomas as graduates of the University of Houston-Victoria.

UHV Interim President Vic Morgan calls it "a time to honor students who have earned their degrees and look back on their achievements."

The Keynote address will be delivered by President of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges Belle Wheelan, who has 40 years of higher education work behind her.

There will be 2 graduation ceremonies on Saturday (May 16), at 9am for students of the shools of Arts & Sciences and Education, Health Professions & Human Development and, at 1pm for students from the schools of Business Administration and Nursing. Both ceremonies will take place at Faith Family Church, 2002 E. Mockingbird in Victoria.
