Recently Arrested Snoop Dogg Wants to Light it Up with Obama

Rapper Snoop Dogg was recently busted for drug possession at border patrol in Texas this past weekend after a drug-sniffing dog discovered marijuana on his tour bus. Luckily, for Snoop, police issued him a citation and released him. But none of this would have happened if pot was legalized, right? Well, maybe.

In a parody video created by ObamaSnippetsDotCom, President Obama established the American Homegrown Act, which will legalize marijuana in the United States. To help ensure that everyone gets high responsibly he appoints Snoop Dogg as the Staff Chief of Joints. In his new position, the Doggfather will oversee the Federal Pot Grant program so college students can get high off their education. Ha!

Of course, we are having fun here, but the video is an amusing look at what might happened if marijuana was indeed legal.

Snoop Dogg recently told Hot 99.5′s Toby Knapp that he could possibly get President Obama to change the drug laws by first getting him nice and relaxed. “Before I even said ‘Hi’ to President Obama, I would change the aroma of the room,” he says. “And then we could start conversing after we had that aroma change. You know what I’m talking about?”

According to Snoop, a five minute weed session between him, his good buddy Wiz Khalifa and Obama is all he needs to get the job done. “We get that understanding that this is what needs to happen in order to make the world go ’round,” he explains further. “They legalized alcohol, they legalized tobacco. What is it gonna hurt to legalize this medicinal, medical marijuana that’s used for purposes of cataracts.”
