I know anyone reading this probably is asking themselves who names their dog "Love".
Well, I did.
I really don't remember why I named him Love. He is very moody but one thing that makes him very happy is chasing balls
Evan is one of our sales executive here with Q-92. She has a Weiner Dog named Sir Richard Longfellow Johnson III.
His favorite toy is Jolly Balls. His full name is Sir Richard Longfellow Johnson III a
We have another pet around our station but we're not really sure if most people would be able to call him a pet. His name is Speedy and he is a little snail.
I don’t know if you can really say snails are cute but he is very interesting looking
Our Pet of the Day is Ranger, aka Danger Ranger. He is our station pet who greets us outside every morning. If he doesn't, we all ask each other who's seen Ranger. During the bad weather, we would let him in so he could stay warm
Co-workers spend more time together these days than they do with their own families. People always seem to have a co-worker that they could do without but there has to be that perfect co-worker out there... right?
I asked a few friends on their thoughts on a perfect co-worker. Jennifer said one that shares their food with you. Monett said, “A perfect co-worker would be one that shows up with breakfast every morning.” I did this for a while for Kristin and Evan but then I decided to go on a diet and they didn’t like me as much as they did when I brought hot, fresh breakfast in. I wonder what would happen if I brought in some hot oatmeal... it probably wouldn’t go over too well.
Do you have that co-worker that is always able to pull a good one on you? Sometimes office pranks can brighten up the day while others may leave someone wanting to get revenge.
But before you play a prank make sure the management knows what you are going to do. I have seen some really good ones on the web such as cupping. Cupping is where you put styrofoam cups filled with water all over a co-worker’s office. Can you imagine how long that would take to clean up? Just think about it, you could only dump 2 cups at a time.
Working here at the radio station, you have to have a good sense of humor because pranks are being played weekly. It's happened to me a few times. Okay, maybe I should say several times. One day I was out of the office and came back to find all my pen caps super-glued on. Boy, did all my co-workers get a good laugh at me while I was trying to pull them apart.
There are many kinds of co-workers but one you can not “tune” out is the Noisemaker. This co-worker irritates you just by making that sound and sends your body into a cringe.
Whether they are whistling, singing, humming, knuckle cracking, clicking their pen, sipping their drink loudly or crunching or smacking when they eat, it drives you up the wall.
This week, you will see many blogs on “Co-worker Personalities” from some of the staff here at Q-92. We all have co-workers we love and become great friends with and then there are those crazy coworkers that when you see them, you quickly look for a detour to avoid them.
Judy Rodriguez with Dr. Mondolfi's office had to be feeling the love from her co-workers last Friday when she won Free Food Friday from DoubleDave's Pizza. Judy said,"The pizza was yummy!! The girls were excited when I tol
Whether you like Justin Bieber for his singing or not, you should check out the movie "Justin Bieber Never Say Never". I took my son and his friend Makenna to go see it yesterday. Both of the kids never moved during the entire movie their eyes were glued to the screen. I have to admit I was impressed.
The movie was very inspirational and heart warming. The bond he has with his grandfather is precious and you don’t see that much these days. You can see throughout the movie that Justin really respects him. When Justin was little and he'd have a bad day at school, his grandfather was the first person he would go to.
I am usually a person who is ahead of the game on holidays and making sure our gifts are bought in advance of the actual holiday. But for some reason Valentine's Day just stumps me.
A guy can show up with flowers and a sweet card and a girl is happy as can be. Guys, on the other hand, are difficult to buy for and you have to be creative. Valentine's is a day to show your loved one how much you love and appreciate them so you don't want to just not get them anything.
I don’t watch much TV but when I do it's usually reality TV. I found the show called Storage Wars on A&E last night. The show is about four different buyers who go to different storage units in search of hitting it big on others people’s stuff.
They get a peek of what's inside the storage unit and then an auctioneer auctions off the unit. It’s a gamble you could hit it big or go home empty handed.
