At the 2012 Met Gala on Monday (May 7), new mom Beyonce admitted that she is nervous about her upcoming Atlantic City residency, which unfolds over Memorial Day weekend.

Bey? Nervous? Come on. She’s only one of the biggest and most beloved pop divas on earth. What does she have to be nervous about?

Well, for one thing, it’s her first show in about a year. She’s been on a hiatus from performing since she, you know, gave birth to her first child!

When interviewed quickly by ET on the red carpet, Bey revealed that she lost the Blue Ivy baby weight by “working really hard.” She admitted that she has not been hitting the gym, instead combining discipline with rehearsing for the shows! She said, “I have a show coming, my first show in a year. I’ve been dancing for eight hours a day. I am so nervous.”

Despite the nerves, Bey has a back up on speed dial. “I am calling on Sasha Fierce,” she said, referencing her alter ego. “I need her to come back.”

You’ll be fine, Bey! The shows sold out in minutes and a fourth gig was added due to demand, so fans are clamoring to see you.

The new mom was also asked if she would like to have another child and she said, with a knockout smile crossing her face, “Of course, yes. I don’t know how many, God knows, but I don’t know yet.” She also intimated that while she wants more children, she won’t be giving Blue a brother or a sister anytime soon.

All in good time. Bey has to focus on those AC shows right now!
