There's a reason why Bruno Mars is headlining the Super Bowl Halftime show this year: He can entertain the masses almost effortlessly. The 'Unorthodox Jukebox' crooner nailed his performance at the 2013 iHeartRadio Music Festival and proved that he's more than a worthwhile performer -- he's well on his way to a legend.

Mars began with his uptempo hits from his sophomore record, 'Locked Out of Heaven' and 'Treasure,' to get fans in partying, cheery mood -- and boy, did the man succeed. However, he slowed it down immediately, following with a heartfelt rendition of 'When I Was Your Man.' It was so well done that you could actually hear the crowd whistling at him ... and a lot of ladies were probably weeping, too.

The forever fedora-sporting Mars channeled the legendary James Brown for 'Runaway Baby,' which featured every imaginable bell and whistle (though he's so talented, he doesn't need much help).

Mars closed with an extended, eclectic rendition of the super-sexual single 'Gorilla,' which slowed down, sped up, got harder, slower -- you get the idea. We see what he did there!
