Crossing Your Arms Reduces Pain

Simply crossing your arms reduces the feeling of pain.

Since we generally use our right hand to touch things on the right side of our orientation, and our left hand to touch things on the left side, scientists believe that when you cross your arms the brain gets confused and doesn't process stimuli -- including pain -- as well

Aaron Schock Shirtless in Latest Men’s Health Issue

Rep. Aaron Schock of Illinois is now poised to get the vote of every woman in America thanks to a new spread in Men's Health, in which our nation's youngest congressman can be seen posing shirtless.

Is Salt Actually Good for You?

A new development in the battle against salt is leading some scientists to question whether a low-sodium diet is actually healthy for you.

What they found was that the people with the lowest amount of sodium intake "had no greater protection against high blood pressure after eight years than those who consumed the highest levels," according to the Boston Globe.

We are a family who does not get sick. Seriously, my kids didn’t go to the doctor once in 2010. So, because it is rare we have to go to the doctor, it is rare we deal with a pharmacy.

Well, last week my son was sick and was prescribed antibiotics. When I went to the pharmacy (I won’t name it), I got there at 7 P.M. The prescription had been faxed over at 4 P.M. but it wasn’t ready yet. The tech asked me, “Do you need the prescription tonight?” and I said yes. Then I was informed they would try to fill it in half an hour and to check back.
