With a new album out, Beyonce is everywhere these days. From the cover of magazines to PSAs, the triple threat is working hard to promote 4. But when it comes to her involvement with the Michael Forever: The Tribute Concert, it looks like the artist simply wanted to honor one of her idols.
If a report in In Touch Weekly is to be believed, superstar power couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith have separated after 13 years of marriage.
The Smiths are the parents of two already-famous children — ‘Karate Kid’ star Jaden, 13, and ‘Whip My Hair’ singer Willow, 10 — and their union has long been regarded as one of Hollywood’s strongest and most enduring.
The toxicology report from Amy Winehouse’s autopsy is in.
Chris Goodman, the Winehouse family spokesman, released a statement saying, “Toxicology results returned to the Winehouse family by authorities have confirmed that there were no illegal substances in Amy’s system at the time of her death. Results indicate that alcohol was present, but it cannot be determined as yet if it played a role in her death. The family would like to thank the police and coroner for their continuing thorough investigations and for keeping them informed throughout the process. They await the outcome of the inquest in October.”

Leiber, 78, had been battling cardiopulmonary disease.
Demi Lovato hasn’t toured since calling an early end to her stint as an opening act for last year’s Jonas Brothers tour, but with a new hit single under her belt and a new album just around the corner, she’s getting ready to hit the road again.
In what should be the first of many additions to her tour calendar, Demi has lined up a pair of gigs for September — one in New York, and one in Los Angeles.
Beyoncé and her media mogul husband Jay-Z can add another accolade to their already impressive resumes; the pair has been named the highest-paid couple in music by Forbes magazine. The duo is the second overall highest-paid celebrity couple in the world behind New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen.
According to Forbes, between May 2010 and May 2011, “Sasha Fierce” and “Hov” made a combined $72 million. Besides top-selling albums, Beyoncé fronts her own fashion line Deréon and endorsement deals with DirectTV, General Mills and L’Oreal.
On Sunday night, ‘The Glee Project’ chose the winner of its grand prize: a seven-episode storyline on the musical juggernaut ‘Glee.’
The competition, which aired on Oxygen, started with 12 performers, winnowed down from the 40,000 who submitted audition tapes, and every week one was eliminated until it was down to four — smoldering and dreadlocked Samuel, utterly-adorable Irishman Damian, catty belter Lindsay, and the sometimes cross-dressing diva Alex.
Last year, Bono‘s emergency back surgery in Germany had the U2 fan base worried about his welfare.
There was an entirely different kind of concern for Bono over the weekend, when reports circulated that he was treated for chest pains last week at a hospital in Monaco. U2 fans can rest easy, though: It was just a routine checkup, according to a spokeswoman for the 51-year-old singer.
They may share a last name, but they sure don’t seem to share musical taste. Songwriter Linda Perry called singer Katy Perry‘s music “crap” during a recent interview.
