Co-worker Co-existence: The Drama Mama

One pet peeve regarding co-workers is the co-worker that brings everything to work. This is the person who literally anytime something is going a little wrong, everyone will know it.

It’s frequent enough and dramatic enough that it’s certain they need attention. They will look obviously forlorn so that you will ask them what is wrong and they can unleash the drama they are experiencing that day. It only takes one instance of asking this co-worker what is wrong and you will be sure to avoid them the rest of your career.

Or if you must talk with them you will have to pull out your ninja acting skills and act like you don’t notice the Niagra Falls attraction coming from their eyeballs. This is usually a female coworker – but make no mistake, there are male versions of this coworker personality.
