Creed frontman Scott Stapp recently posted a video statement to Creed’s Facebook account in an attempt to clear the air and set the record straight about his current living situation, as well as to dispel any rumors going around about the 'With Arms Wide Open' singer.

After immediately brushing off reports of substance abuse and a death hoax, he went into detail about his current predicament, saying he has been suffering from "some kind of vicious attack" in regard to the state of his personal finances. He says, "A lot of money was stolen from me or royalties not paid and that’s when all hell began to break loose."

He goes on to warn fans that people may be trying to sabotage him, saying, "I've even been threatened that if I went public like I’m doing right now that any impropriety or anything that I’ve done in my past that these individuals can get their hands on to humiliate and embarrass me and try to ruin my credibility, that they would do that.”

However, he says he’s willing to fight against the people who have stolen from him, adding, "I’m gonna take it public. And I’m gonna expose and I’m gonna fight every single individual that is responsible for this. Right now, I’m looking for an honest, good attorney that’s ready to fight and ready to take it all the way to the top.”

Stapp has allegedly been living in a Holiday Inn, but circumstances have also led him to living in his truck where he went without food for long periods of time and was admitted to a hospital emergency room.
