The Dallas Cowboys had their stars on the sidelines Saturday night, and the L.A. Rams edged the boys 13-10 in the first official preseason game of the year for both teams. Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott and Dez Bryant all took the night off, and despite the stars being out of the game, the luckless Rams only managed 13 points to win the game.

Rams quarterback Jared Goff put together one scoring drive, and Rams kickers Travis Coons put one between the uprights for a 36-yard tie breaking field goal with about 6 minutes left in the game for the win.

The Cowboys also struggled, not posting a first down until the 2nd quarter, and only 9 first downs the entire game. Darren McFadden was the Cowboys leading rusher, but he only had 6 carries.

Next up for the Cowboys, the Indianapolis Colts come to town this Saturday the 19th. Pregame starts at 5:30pm on KIXS 108.
