For some reason (meaning "this is how these things work"), it was rumored that Emma Watson, the erstwhile Hermione Granger from the 'Harry Potter' franchise, would be taking on the lead in the film adaption of the BDSM mommy-porn bestseller 'Fifty Shades of Grey.'

A rumor “confirmed” by some hackers -- something Watson herself found so hilarious that she decided to address it herself this weekend on Twitter. And she did it in her usual adorable way.

The casting call was taken for fact when the hacking group Anonymous reportedly broke into German film studio Constanin's database and publicly posted a document that said Watson was set to play Anastasia Steele.

However, the paperwork was debunked and later found to be simply a producer's wish-list for the role.

This is the second time that Watson has been rumored to be attached to the picture. After a similar rumor began swirling back in 2012, she shot it down by telling Entertainment Weekly, "I haven't read the book, I haven't a read a script, nothing. There are so many movies you become attached to when I've literally never even received a phone call. It was the same way with 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo' –- I never even saw a script!"

Of course, since Watson is out, there's always the chance they could turn it into an animated feature with Kate Moss voicing the lead. And of course we know Chace Crawford is probably down for it, too.
