You may have noticed a beautiful roller-skating blonde take a tumble during the live broadcast of Gwen Stefani's "Make Me Like You" video Monday (February 15) night, but the singer insists it wasn't she who slipped.

On last night's (February 16) Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Stefani explained that planning for the big Grammys-night stunt was about two months in the making, and though she did fall a couple of times during her six-day intensive rehearsal, the tumbles "knocked some sense" into her and made for a seamless finished product. The final spill, conversely, was planned for shock value.

"Everybody thinks that was me but that was a stunt double," she says in the video above. "We did that on purpose so people would go, 'Oh, my God! It's live and she fell!'"

One thing she can confirm, on the other hand, is that the song is, indeed, about Blake Shelton.

"I will admit that that song is about that guy, yeah," she concedes, and says recording the forthcoming This Is What The Truth Feels Like helped her map out the past year's emotional roller-coaster.

"This whole album is really about just trying to take something that was awful and just healing from it and turning it into something beautiful," she says.
