So… Hot 97 DJ Peter Rosenberg is actually a closeted Nicki Minaj fan. Not!

The brouhaha over Nicki Minaj canceling her performance at Summer Jam 2012 has finally simmered down, but not before Mr. Rosenberg gets the last laugh.

In a funny (but staged) video that was posted on Hot 97′s YouTube page, the morning DJ was caught listening to Minaj’s ‘Starships,’ the song he proudly claims is a “wack” single. Rosenberg gets so caught up into the sugary-pop track, he throws on a hot pink wig and fist-pumps in the air like he just don’t care.

Rosenberg clearly doesn’t have the bodacious body to fit in a bikini like the Harajuku Barbie does in the titillating video, but he can shake it like a polaroid. The clip is certainly a parody of the whole Summer Jam fiasco and not a diss at the Young Money princess.

Now that the dust has settled we can all laugh at the absurdity of it all, right? We are now wondering what Nicki Minaj thinks of Rosenberg’s satirical video.
