Hungry Thieves Steal $19,000 Worth of Girl Scout Cookies
Call if the great cookie caper.
Nearly 450 cases of Girl Scout cookies were recently stolen from a storage facility in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. That’s almost $19,000 worth of Thin Mints and Shortbreads — those were the only flavors taken.
The owner of the delivery and storage company said it has been working with the Girl Scouts for over 40 years and nothing like this has ever happened.
Authorities continue to look into the matter.
