The ride share service known as Lyft has come to Victoria but according to city officials, none of the drivers have the commercial driving permit that they need. O.C. Garza who represents Victoria says in a Victoria Advocate report that none of the drivers have even applied for the permit.

Mayor Paul Polasek says the company is welcoming the service, but also reminds drivers that they still need the proper permits to operate.

According to the report, Lyft officials have contacted the city and the Mayor said he is setting up a time to meet with them.
