Jennifer Lopez Breaks Down During Elimination On “American Idol” [VIDEO]

For those of you who record "American Idol" and haven't had the chance to see the most recent episode and have somehow managed to avoid hearing what happened in it, I'm giving you fair warning... This is a spoiler.

Wednesday's episode saw judge Jennifer Lopez in tears after telling fan favorite Chris Medina that he would not be moving on in the competition.

Medina's story is a touching one. He cares for his fiance who was left brain damaged after being in an accident shortly before they were to wed. As Lopez told him he would be cut, she broke down in tears and claimed she could not continue with the elimination.

The episode ended at that point, finishing on a cliff hanger. One wonders what Simon's reaction would have been were he still on the show...
