Actress Jodie Foster, who "officially" came out during her speech at the Golden Globes in 2013, confirming something most of Hollywood already knew, is a married woman.

The Oscar winner, who burst onto the scene as a child actress and stole our hearts with her portrayal of Iris, a teenage hooker in 'Taxi Driver,' wed her girlfriend of almost a year, photographer and actress Alexandra Hedison.

E! confirmed the good news with Foster's rep, so you can commence with the congrats for the couple!

Things got serious on the quick for Foster, 51, and Hedison, 44, with a source labeling them "totally in love" back in September.

Foster was involved with partner Cydney Bernard for nearly 20 years before splitting in 2008. They have two sons, Charles and Kit, which they co-parent. Foster spoke fondly of her ex when she came out, calling her an "ex-partner in love" but her "righteous soul sister in life."

Hedison, who starred on Showtime's now-defunct lesbian drama 'The L Word' for three seasons, is no stranger to high-profile relationships. She previously dated Ellen DeGeneres for about three years before splitting with the talk show host back in 2004. Her father is actor David Hedison.

Congrats to Foster and Hedison on their marriage! Further details about the nuptials are scarce, other than the twosome swapped vows last weekend.
