Johnny Depp reportedly injured his hand while filming the fifth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. The Cry-Baby actor is flying back to the United States from Australia to have the surgery done. While there are no further details as to what happened, exactly, Depp was, according to Deadline, not harmed while on set. His injury will apparently not affect the release date of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

Just a few days after Depp injured his hand, a man reportedly threatened a member of the set's security team with a knife after failing to sneak onto the set of the movie. According to the police, a man was intercepted by said security guard when the intruder brandished a knife before ultimately fleeing through thickets of brush. He is said to have been decked out in a pirate suit, complete with a parrot on his shoulder, reportedly to imitate a cast member. To be totally honest, he looks suspiciously like Depp's character, Captain Jack Sparrow. You can see a photo over at E! News. The police have been unable to identify the impersonator and he currently remains at large.

Pirate of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales was originally scheduled for a summer 2015 release, but it was pushed back to summer 2016. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer said in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, "We have an outline everyone loves but the script is not done. We want a script that everyone's signed off on and a budget that everyone's signed off on."
