So here's one of my all-time favorite completely bonkers things about Archie's hometown of Riverdale: It features naturally occurring time travel. No, seriously, there's a place called the Yellow Wood with a street called Memory Lane, and if you walk down (or up) that street, you can move into the past or future of Riverdale. There's even a spot where two roads diverge, just in case you need to see what would happen if you finally chose between, oh, I don't know, a beautiful but fickle heiress or the wholesome and lovable girl next door. Just a random example.

Anyway, there's also a street in the Yellow Wood called Storybook Lane, and as you might expect from the all-consuming weirdness of the Archie universe, it has the same nebulous relationship to fables and fairytales that Memory Lane does with time. Just something to keep in mind when you're reading the new Betty and Veronica: Fairy Tales collection --- it's out this week, and you can check out a preview below!

See? And here I'm sure some of you thought I was making things up. Of course, not every Riverdalean fairy tale story involves geographic genre-bending as much as, you know, the fact that there's no reason to not do a riff on Snow White if you have the opportunity, but still. Here's the solicitation info:
