Eminem and Justin Bieber exist at complete opposite ends of the musical spectrum, but they’re paired up in a strange new lawsuit, in which a promoter allegedly promised to deliver a concert by one of them in Korea but failed to make it happen.

TMZ reports that a company called J-Mike is facing litigation for accepting a payment of $300,000 in 2010 to secure a performance by either Bieber or Eminem. The concert never happened, and the money was never returned, according to an entity called Moonstone Management, which filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

The concert would have taken place in Seoul, South Korea, but J-Mike supposedly strung along Moonstone for months and eventually kept the cash. Moonstone’s Facebook page describes the company as “a true leader of creating concerts, corp events, and parties in US and city of Seoul, Korea.” Moonstone seeks return of the $300,000 plus unspecified damages.

Bieber’s My World Tour reached Asia in 2011, but he never ended up playing a show in Korea.
