It’s no secret that rapper Lil Wayne and his music empire, Cash Money/Young Money Records, are knee-deep in lawsuits from producers who claim the label swindled them out of money. However, it look as if Weezy is trying to make amends and resolve some of these court cases.

TMZ is reporting that producer Deezle (real name Darius Harrison) have reached an undisclosed settlement with Weezy after he initially sued him for $20 million. Deezle claims that he was never paid for his production work on ‘Tha Carter III,’ which included songs ‘Mrs. Officer’ and Wayne’s Grammy Award-winning hit ‘Lollipop.’

At first, Wayne denied Deezle’s accusations but recently the two parties have reached a confidential agreement and the case is now dismissed.

While this may be good news for Wayne, he still has a slew of lawsuits from other producers clogging up the court system. Among the litigants: Production company Done Deal Enterprises has filed a $15 million copyright-infringement against Wayne; producer David Kirkwood is seeking $1.5 million in royalties owed; and production team Drummer Boyz are suing Wayne claiming he stole their ‘How to Love’ beat.

Whew! With so many cases in litigation, Weezy should change the name of his record label to Cash Money Bank.
