LMFAO Deny Breakup Rumors in New Video
LMFAO are putting rumors of a feud to rest via YouTube and a sense of humor. The ‘Sexy and I Know It’ rappers released a video poking fun at the reports of a breakup to reassure fans that the Party Rock train and tour are still in full effect.
Sky Blu — wearing red, incidentally — opens the video with some ‘Party Rock’ rapping, then stops to say how good he feels. Redfoo enters, and the uncle and nephew high five and hug … Though Sky Blu indicates that Redfoo may have gotten a little too touchy feely for his liking.
Uncle Redfoo then clutches a copy of The New York Post in the clip, which, if you recall, reported on a rift between the ‘Shots’ enthusiasts. “Did you see the stuff they wrote in The New York Post?” Redfoo asks Sky, his raspy voice cracking slightly. “All the crazy stuff,” he says, opening to presumably Page Six, where the original article appeared. Sky Blu is distracted by a DKNY ad, but soon the duo regain their focus.
“Lemme read it to ya,” Redfoo says as Sky grabs for the paper. Soon the two are fighting over the newspaper, shouting, “Everyday we tusslin’!” They turn the tug-of-war and tearing into a dance, after which Sky Blu says, “We’re going on tour, man, and I’m so excited!”
The video then turns from a denial of a conflict into a concert promotion — smart marketing, fellas! “Come tussle with us!”
