Since dropping his Swimming album on Aug. 3, Mac Miller has been in promotion mode for the project and on Monday (Aug. 13), the Pittsburgh rapper stopped by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to perform "Ladders."

Backed by the show's house band, Jon Batiste and Stay Human, Miller performed an upbeat, jazzy version of the song that wasn't too far from the track's original Pomo, Jon Brion and Nice Rec-produced sound.

"Somehow we gotta find a way/No matter how many miles it takes/I know it feels so good right now/But it all come fallin' down/When the night, meet the light, turn to day," Miller rapped as Batiste and the band backed him.

Near the end of performance, the grooves became too infectious for Miller, who showed off a few of his dance moves as the horn section kicked in for the song's outro. Mac ended his performance with a soft "thank you" and a quick bow to Batiste.

Miller is now gearing up for his Swimming Tour with Thundercat and 2018 XXL Freshman, J.I.D. Set to kick off on Oct. 27 in San Francisco, the artists will make stops in Los Angeles, Dallas, Atlanta, Miami, Chicago and more before wrapping up on Dec. 10 in Vancouver, Canada.
