Madonna made another MDNA tour stop in Paris on Thursday (July 26), but after performing for just 45 minutes, the pop star was booed by fans. The audience reportedly threw bottles at the stage and shouted insults at the singer, including calling her “salope” which means “slut” in French.

The sold-out show clearly disappointed fans at Paris’ l’Olympia, who felt cheated by Madge’s abbreviated set. The concert lasted from 10:15 to 11:00 before the 53-year-old left the stage.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the evening was billed as in intimate event with the Material Girl, and was streamed live on YouTube. By Friday morning, the clip had over 12,000 dislikes and the commenting option was disabled.

Tickets for the show started at 80 euros ($98), and were first released to fan club members before being released to the general public. The 2,700-seat venue was filled with superfans of the star, who were encouraged to tweet about the concert using the Twitter hashtag #MDNAParis. Instead, angry audience members used the hashtag to complain and push for refunds.

The iconic pop singer has not yet commented on the short set, but she will get a chance to redeem herself when she returns to France on Aug. 21 for a concert in Nice.
