Angela "Big Ang" Raiola's sister is seeking help from fans to cover the Mob Wives star's course of care, now that Raiola has stopped responding to initial treatments for Stage 4 lung and brain cancer.

Janine Detore created a GoFundMe page for Raiola on February 2. She explained on the site page that chemotherapy has not been working, and the reality TV star's tumors have remained the same size or grown. Detore wrote that doctors are considering immunotherapy, but it has not begun, and she's focused on helping to relieve Raiola's pain in the meantime.

"I suggested cannabis oil as an alternative," she wrote. "This is why I am putting up this go fund me to try to help my sister to get this oil to help her at least be pain free. Angela cannot function to work anymore. I'm not sure that it will work but I'm praying. We all thank you in advance for your prayers & kind wishes. Help Big Ang fight her BIGGEST BATTLE!"

The page first aimed to raise $25,000, but fans have already contributed more than $32,000.

Raiola, a smoker for more than 40 years, posted a hopeful message to Facebook in April 2015 shortly before surgery, in which she encouraged fans to make good choices. Doctors first discovered a tumor in her throat in March 2015.

"Big Ang isn’t going anywhere!" she wrote. "I’m fortunate and blessed to have discovered something very early...Always look after yourselves and don’t neglect your health."
