New Book Claims Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Ordered the Hit on Tupac Shakur [VIDEO]

Before leaving the Los Angeles Police Department, Greg Kading made copies of reports and recorded confessions pertaining to the separate murder cases of rappers Tupac Shakur and Christopher Wallace (aka Notorious B.I.G. and Biggie Smalls).

Those materials are a big part of Kading’s new self-published book ‘Murder Rap.’ Due October 4, the book includes a claim by a police informant who says he was offered $1 million by Sean “Diddy” Combs to kill Shakur and Suge Knight, who ran Death Row Records, Shakur’s label home.

But there’s more: In another documented confession, the mother of one of Knight’s children says Knight gave her money to pay a man for the killing of Wallace, who recorded for Combs’ Bad Boy Entertainment label.

Shakur was shot to death in September 1996 in Las Vegas, while Wallace met a similar fate in Los Angeles in March 1997.

In a video interview with LA Weekly, former LAPD detective Kading said he wrote the book “because it was the right thing to do, all things considered. … I know that those cases in their current status are never going to go forward — they’re shelved. The world’s never going to know what we developed and what we discovered in the investigation, so if I don’t tell the story, no one will — and therefore nobody knows.”

Kading’s book references a recording from December 2008 with informant and reported Southside Crips gang member Duane “Keffe D” Keith Davis. On the tape, Davis can be heard saying, “[Combs] took me downstairs and he’s like, ‘Man, I want to get rid of them dudes [Shakur and Knight]‘ … I was like, ‘We’ll wipe [them] out, quick. It’s nothing.’ … We wanted a million.”

Combs, in an e-mail to LA Weekly, wrote, “This story is pure fiction and completely ridiculous.”
