New Music Releases – August 2012

The last month of summer is definitely going to be one of the hottest months out of the year — and we’re not just talking about the weather. August is always a popular month for new music releases and this year is no exception. This month Kreayshawn, Owl City, Brandy, and many more are dropping new albums and we’re so looking forward to hearing what they have in store.

Although a handful of new releases are expected to be out in August, fans are going to have to wait toward the middle and the end of the month for most of them to debut. One of the most anticipated album releases is Trey Songz‘s ‘Chapter V,’ which is set to release on Aug. 21. After hearing the online leak of the two tracks ‘Dive In’ and ‘Simply Amazing,’ we’re excited to hear the rest of the rapper’s fifth studio album.

2 Chainz is also dropping his own album ‘Based on a T.R.U. Story’ a few weeks earlier on Aug. 14.
