Nicki Minaj has been recognized in the music world for many great things, but maybe one of her top honors came when Mattel Crafted a special Barbie Doll in the singer’s likeness to be auctioned off for charity.

“It’s just a one of a kind, limited edition for charity, and so I never thought Mattel would even pay attention to me,” Minaj recently told Billboard. “For me, this is a very major moment because it just shows that you can come from nothing and still be a force in the main world, a business woman, and hopefully a mogul one day.”

The Nicki Minaj Barbie comes decked out in towering boots, a sparkly tulle, plenty of “diamonds” and, of course, long, pink hair. The rare Barbie will be available for auction starting Wednesday (Dec. 7) through CharityBuzz.com until December 19. The doll will also be open for bids during Divine Design’s five-day event and gala at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, Calif.

Opening bids for the one-of-a-kind Barbie Doll will start at $1,000. Proceeds raised from the doll and other items available at the auction will benefit Project Angel Food — a non-profit organization that provides meals for men, women and children who have been affected with HIV and AIDS.
