My father suffers from Parkinson’s disease. One of the hardest things when we were advised he had Parkinson’s there wasn’t many places to turn to for help. When dealing with this there are so many different levels and things you deal with. One thing my family found comforting was being able to talk to others who were dealing with the same disease.  I was so excited when a friend Rhonda Reeder came to me recently and told me about how Post Acute Medical would be offering a monthly luncheon to help families and loved ones who deal with Parkinson’s disease.

Post Acute Medical is introducing its new Parkinson’s support group June 20th. This group will meet once a month and is open to the community. The support group will discuss a variety of topics affecting both individuals with Parkinson’s and their loved ones. First topic is big and loud program and meet the big and loud team. You are invited to attend June 20th at 11:45 for more information please call Tommy Beyer at 361-676-3440 or 361 676 3440. Light lunch provided. Event will be held at Post-Acute Medical 102 Medical Drive.
