Pink Recruits the Hives for Her 2013 North American Tour

Pink has always been a pop singer with a rock 'n roll attitude, so it makes perfect sense that she's bringing along rowdy Swedish rockers the Hives on her Covergirl-sponsored 2013 North American tour.

She's going big with this tour, hitting up huge arenas like Madison Square Garden and the Staples Center. Pink is psyched about her tour partners, as she demonstrated on Twitter:

The Hives were part of the garage rock revival in the early 2000s along with bands like the White Stripes and the Strokes. The Hives will open for all of the North American shows on Pink's The Truth About Love Tour, except for three between March 16-19, when Canadian indie artist City and Colour will provide support.

Pink's sixth album, 'The Truth About Love,' reached No. 5 in September and has so far produced the hits 'Blow Me (One Last Kiss)' and 'Try.' She will be the subject of both 'Behind the Music' and 'Storytellers' on Nov. 13 on VH1.
