Heavyweight rhyme-spitters Rick Ross and Big Sean will appear on two separate covers of The Source magazine’s year-end issue. The Maybach Music Group honcho was crowned Man of the Year by the editors, while the ‘My Last’ rapper was named Rookie of the Year.

A bespectacled Rozay looks warm and cozy on the magazine cover in his yellow fur coat, which matches his canary-diamond pinky ring. In the issue, the Miami rapper discusses his health scare back in October where he suffered two seizures while traveling. “I went and seen an actual neurologist to tell me what was really going on,” he tells guest editor/writer Kim Osorio. “My condition was basically extreme exhaustion … It was a real eye-opener for me.”

Big Sean secures his first-ever major magazine cover with the Source. Shirtless and draped in gold jewelry including a diamond-encrusted pinky ring, the G.O.O.D. Music artist had a phenomenal year thanks to the release of his debut album ‘Finally Famous.’ The Detroit-based rapper talks about the highs and lows of being a famous rapper, including his legal case for an alleged sexual-assault this past summer.

The Source’s year-end issue is a special one — it’s the publication’s 250th edition. The hip-hop magazine will be chock full of features including, a “Best of 2011″ recap, a tribute to the late Heavy D, interviews with Wale and Common, as well as a special report on the health crisis in hip-hop.

The Source magazine’s December 2011/ January 2012 issue will hit newsstands this week.
