I've experienced all kinds of weather in my lifetime. I grew up in Michigan, so I was used to seriously cold winters, blizzards, icy roads, and the like. In my career, I have worked on the Carolina coast (pretty mild year round (but, DAMN YOU, HURRICANES!), in New Mexico (hotter than hell in the summertime, but IT'S A DRY HEAT), and here in Texas.

Now, I have to say I wasn't ready for the high humidity combined with temps over 100 in the summertime, but you get somewhat used to it. Seeing as how I'm not super fond of sweating my ass off just by walking outside, I really love the milder times of year, But, can I just take a moment to complain about this weird winter weather? I mean, 60's and 70's one day, okay, fine. Then, 80's and close to 90 in February?

Maybe my memory is a little fuzzy but, seems like the temps were more consistent in years past. Don't get me wrong, I like our winters for the most part, I'd just like to know that if I need a coat in the morning, that I'll still need it when I go home from work.

I have a solution to our schizophrenic weather...put a dome over the entire city and heat that baby when it needs it, and air condition it in the summer!

Okay, back to reality.
