Many were shocked, or - if nothing else - a little surprised when ABC opted not to move forward with additional episodes of buzz-worthy freshman dramas 'Last Resort' and '666 Park Avenue' last week, both of which opened to some acclaim but failed to perform in their difficult time slots. The abrupt cancellation also has fans wondering if the stories of either series will reach satisfying conclusions after only 13 episodes, but now both show-runners have gone on record indicating the cancelled shows will be tweaked to reflect a series finale. In her new book 'Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far,' Bristol Palin wrote that former boyfriend Levi Johnston "stole" her virginity one drunken night while camping. Barbara Walters questioned her statement on 'The View' yesterday, suggesting that perhaps Palin used hyperbole to describe the incident.

Hoover Pulls Ads From ABC After Soap Cancellations

It looks like vacuum maker Hoover is about to play dirty.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Hoover plans to pull its ads from ABC following the network's decision to cancel two of its soap operas -- 'All My Children' and 'One Life to Live' -- last week.

VP of marketing Brian Kirkendall claims they will stop advertising on the network effective Friday, and that they're "making every attempt" to pull their spots from the soaps sooner.

Poor Kirstie Alley. Just one week after she fell on the 'Dancing With the Stars' ballroom floor, the Emmy-winning actress suffered another unfortunate mishap.

In this case, it was her shoe that fell (off). Midway through her routine last night, a noticeably embarrassed Alley remained seated on the floor for a few moments while she put herself back together again.

Luckily, the performance hiccup didn't deter her too much. As was the case last week, Alley got right back on her feet and finished her performance with grace and style -- not to mention a solid score of 22.

I just got done watching 'Secret Millionaire' and all I can say is WOW.

My dear friend Monica Lassmann had told me about the show and how touching it was so I decided to watch it. This week's show was about Gary and Diane Heavin who are the co-owners of 'Curves'.

Gary and Diane left their wealthy lifestyles behind to spend a week in Houston's poverty-stricken Third Ward. They were given $6.50 per day to use for food while they were on their journey.
