And today, Saturday, July 14, we present to you the stupid news of the day! We kind of can’t believe we’re actually writing this, but it’s so hilariously absurd that we just had to share it with you.

So first Adele shocks the world by announcing she’s pregnant, and on the same day Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes announced they were divorcing no less. Rude. Then there’s the rumor that not only is she pregnant, but that she’s seven months pregnant and is due to give birth before summer even ends. And now it’s being reported that she has already spent $50,000 on the baby’s nursery!

So far we’ve learned that animals love Adele and that her music may even have magical healing properties. Now, five-year-old Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, who plays Lily on ‘Modern Family,’ gets in on the Adele craze by singing ‘Someone Like You’ from the backseat of her mother’s car.

In the biggest shocker since Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes announced they were divorcing, we kid, Adele, Nicki Minaj and One Direction have some of the biggest-selling albums of 2012 according to the Neilsen SoundScan. A new book promises to delve into the private life of none other than the ultra-private Adele. We don’t think she’s going to like this too much!
