Is this the most polarizing election year in history? It very well may be, and that is probably a key factor in a large number of Texans who have registered to vote.

The Secretary of State's Office is reporting that 15,015,700 Texans have registered to vote, setting a new record. That number is just over 3/4's of a million more registered voters than there were voting in the primaries in March.

According to a press release, this year's number represents 78% of the state's voting age population, which is more than 1.3 million more voters than 4 years ago.

Way to go Texas! Now, let's just not forget to go to the polls on November 8th.
