This week marks a big week in the radio career of Big Al Mack on the Kidd Kraddick Morning Show.

Long before he was 'Random Man,' Big Al Mack was the owner of a limousine company in Dallas and was an advertiser on 106.1 KISS FM. As an intern for the station in Dallas back in 1995, one of my jobs was to go by his office on a weekly basis and pick up a check to pay for his advertisements.

I'm often asked, "Is the morning show like that in real life? Do they act that way normally?"

My response to that is "yes!" How you hear them on air is how they are in normal life. When I was picking up checks from him, I'd often find myself hanging out for 20 to 30 minutes in his office just talking and cracking up.

I'm sure things have changed a little in the 20 years since he's been on the show, but Big Al Mack is still Big Al Mack!

The show took some time this morning to let KiddNation know how Big Al really got his start in this crazy business. All week long they will be celebrating Big Al's 20th anniversary on The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show.

If you missed this morning's moment, give it a listen in the best of audio clip below.

If you've got a favorite memory of Big Al Mack, feel free to share it with the cast.
