The Ladies of ‘The Talk’ Are Visibly Shaken by Casey Anthony Verdict

On Tuesday’s edition of ‘The Talk,’ Julie Chen made an “executive decision” and, rather than break for live coverage, decided to read the Casey Anthony verdict herself. The results caused a furor among the panel and studio audience.

As Chen read that Anthony had been acquitted of first degree murder and aggravated child abuse, the audience cried out in disbelief and Leah Remini threatened to walk off the show in frustration.

The trial’s outcome proved too much for Chen, as well, who became visibly emotional and needed Holly Robinson Peete to finish reading the separate verdicts.
