Five years after releasing his first ‘Duets’ collection, Tony Bennett is back for a sequel — and this time, some of his guests might surprise you.

For the 17-track collection, due September 20, Bennett enlisted a few fellow legends, including Willie Nelson and Aretha Franklin, along with contemporary crooners such as Andrea Bocelli and Michael Bublé. But he also made sure to give ‘Duets II’ a contemporary spin.

Some of Bennett’s more unexpected partners on the album include Lady Gaga, who shares the mic for a take on ‘The Lady Is a Tramp,’ and Amy Winehouse, who joined Bennett for ‘Body and Soul.’ The album also includes appearances from John Mayer, Mariah Carey, Norah Jones, Carrie Underwood, and Sheryl Crow, among others.

Bennett’s first ‘Duets’ album, released in 2006, found him trading lines with the Dixie Chicks, Paul McCartney, James Taylor, and others; it reached number three on the Billboard charts, and was certified gold less than a month after its debut. ‘Duets II’ will be his first release since 2008′s Grammy-nominated ‘A Swingin’ Christmas.’
