Downtown Victoria will see some lane reductions this week, as work crews continue installing new utility lines.

City officials say beginning Monday (July 18), the City will reduce Main Street to one lane from Stayton Avenue to Commercial Street. This lane reduction is expected to take 3 days, weather permitting.  All businesses in the construction zone will remain open and accessible. Through-traffic can avoid delays in the work zone by seeking alternate routes.

Also beginning Monday, the City will reduce Bridge Street to one lane from Stayton Avenue to Commercial Street to install utility lines. This lane reduction is expected to last much longer, as officials expect this work to take 3 weeks, weather permitting.
