What started as a simple payment dispute quickly escalated when Roberson took offense at being asked to reach further across the car seat as the drive-thru worker tried reaching for payment. The situation spiraled as she entered the kitchen twice, throwing drinks and stealing a $100 tip jar.
33-year-old employee Daniel Lacy Shrewsbury ran out to photograph their vehicle, Roberson responded by firing three fatal shots to his chest.
ROBERSON ESCAPES CAPTURE FOR MONTHS
Authorities arrested the 27-year-old driver, Joshua Joseph, however, Roberson evaded police. Standing at 5'5" and weighing 100 pounds, she was quickly added to Texas's Most Wanted Fugitives list; she was also wanted in Bexar County for forging government documents.
Despite her small stature, law enforcement warns that she should be considered armed and extremely dangerous.
After being on the run, bouncing between San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas, Roberson has finally been captured.
Thanks to a tip received by US Marshals, the 17-year-old was finally apprehended while she was in a Dallas apartment complex parking lot.
Roberson is being held on a $520,000 bond, however, it's currently up in the air if she will be charged as a juvenile or adult.
