In the clip featured above, Trebek reminds all of us that despite the global coronavirus pandemic there is still so much to be thankful for. This just shows again the quality of his character that made him such a great host for 37 seasons.

Trebek shares his faith that our society and our country will be made better through the challenges we are facing. The video message was also posted to Jeopardy! Twitter account as shared by KGW.com.

The message was taped by Trebek during one of his final sessions at the end of October. Alex resumed his schedule just two weeks after surgery last month and during the final week of October, he recorded what would be his final episodes on the show. Trebek published his memoir back in July titled The Answer is...Reflections on My Life. Trebek passed away in his Los Angeles home on November 8th. His final wishes were to be cremated with his remains given to his family.

As the show moves forward, long time Jeopardy! champ Ken Jennings will step in as a temporary host for a few weeks. Ken was the champ for a stretch of 74 consecutive games and is viewed by many as the show's greatest contestant. You can learn more about Ken by clicking the button below.

Trebek's final message to all of us? "Keep the faith, we're gonna get through all of this".
