Batman and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? In one trailer? In this economy?!?

Yes, Batman Vs. the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles pairs two of the biggest titans of comics and movies in a single animated film. The trailer above shows how the two meet and initially fight (Michelangelo is no match for the Dark Knight, sorry pizza dudes) and then team up to stop a rogues’ gallery of both of their deadliest villains. It actually looks like a lot of fun.

Here’s the animated movie’s official synopsis:

Batman, Batgirl and Robin forge an alliance with The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to fight against the Turtles' sworn enemy, The Shredder, who has apparently teamed up with Ra's Al Ghul and The League Of Assassins.

The voice cast includes Darren Criss (The Assassination of Gianni Versace) as Raphael, Saturday Night Live‘s Kyle Mooney as Michelangelo, Baron Vaughn as Donatello, and Eric Bauza as Leonardo. Troy Baker voices both Batman and the Joker, which is going to spark so many grad school thesis papers I can’t even stand it.

Batman Vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be available on Digital and Blu-ray this spring.
