"Well, Well, Well... If it ain't Beaver and Bunghole!" Guess who's coming back?

It all started in Dallas, Texas so how fitting that the Dallas Observer dropped the good news that Mike Judge is going to take a third stab at bringing the show back to television. Officially, a press release from Comedy Central mentioned the good news over the summer, but with most things being shut down over the summer with the pandemic, you may have missed the news. So here's the scoop:

In the reboot of the show, "Beavis and Butt-head" are headed for the Gen Z world with all-new episodes written and produced by the Emmy Award winner Mike Judge himself. Judge will once again voice the characters. In the press release from Comedy Central. Judge said it just seemed like the time was right to get stupid again with these two characters. Considering the events of 2020, we couldn't agree more.

There is just so much material waiting for the return of Bevis and Butt-head. Will the guys steal an election, visit a BLM riot, or wear masks all over their fictitious town of Highland, Texas? We can't wait to find out.

Remember when Mike Judge said he was moving over to a new show he had developed called "King of the Hill"? There's no doubt that when Mike Judge is feeling inspired, he writes some incredibly funny stuff. It's also very offensive stuff at times so in this new age of cancel culture, we hope he can have another nice long run with America's favorite animated duo once again.

The new deal calls for at least two more seasons of Beavis and Butt-head and is expected to return in the summer of 2021.
