Boys and Baseball

The South Texas Driller Baseball coaching staff would like to invite children under the age of 9 to participate in their Drillers of Tomorrow 2014 program. Children who are interested in this program should be dedicated and want to learn the game of baseball. This program will provide an opportunity for your son to learn and develop skills under the personal attention of the South Texas Drillers Baseball Staff. Fundamentals will be stressed through individual and group instruction combined with drill work and game play to help each player become the best he can be. Team fundamentals will also be stressed in order to teach kids more than just a specific skill but more importantly, how to play the GAME of baseball. Activities that will be covered are hitting, pitching, defensive play, bunting, base running, conditioning, academic enhancement strategies and mental aspects of baseball.
