Cardi B brought her one-of-a-kind energy to the 2019 Grammy Awards stage with a rousing performance of "Money" during the ceremony (Feb. 10).

The rapper, nominated for five awards at the show, did not disappoint fans when she took the stage wearing a sheer leopard catsuit to perform the hit song. Many were hopeful her 2019 Grammy Awards performance would live up to that of 2018's, when she performed "Finesse" with Bruno Mars. As was the case last year, Cardi's portion of the show was a highlight.

She was one of few rappers to agree to perform during the Grammys. Drake, Childish Gambino, Kendrick Lamar and other big names are said to have turned down the gig due to a lack of representation.

Cardi's album Invasion of Privacy, as well as some of her singles, was nominated in numerous categories. She was up for Record of the Year with "I Like It," Album of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Girls Like You" with Maroon 5, Best Rap Performance for "Be Careful" and Best Rap Album. Her song, "Be Careful," as well as "No Limit," which she's featured on, is also nominated for Producer of the Year (non-classical).

She attended the event with formerly estranged husband Offset. The appearance raised questions about the status of their relationship. The pair are thought to be working things out.
