Last night (April 7), Cardi B dropped a major bombshell on fans and spectators alike when she formally announced her pregnancy during her first-ever SNL showcase.

While delivering a sassy execution of her cautionary, independent woman anthem "Be Careful," the 25-year-old superstar rapped the verses to her song in a sheer ivory dress.

Cameras were mindful to render the performer only mid-waist up, covering much of her torso. Production eventually pans the video outward to expose Cardi's growing belly bump, rousing cheers from audience members as the "Bodak Yellow" musician gave a glowing expression.

The Invasion of Privacy artist's latest move confirms she is, in fact, expecting a child with rapper Offset. And while the revelation received its share of congratulations, it was also cut by criticism, primarily from members of Cardi's Bardi Gang fandom who gave the "I Like It" entertainer the side-eye for having a child with the Migos rapper despite his history of being unfaithful to her.
