Lane Reduction on Bridge Street
Another spot in town to keep an eye out for is the portion of Bridge Street that is being reduced to one lane for the next couple of weeks. The City of Victoria sent a press release out to remind motorists of the lane reduction happening between Juan Linn Street and Church Street. This project is underway so that Austin Generator Service can excavate a new concrete pad for an emergency generator.
This lane reduction is predicted to last until May 14th, but maybe in place longer if we experience several rainy days. This generator comes to the city of Victoria thanks in part to the Texas Division of Emergency Management and a subgrant issued from FEMA's Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.
