Cuero Man Leading the Charge To Help Wildfire Victims
A Cuero man is taking things into his own hands to help fellow Texas ranchers and farmers who have been affected by the Texas wildfires.
Ranchers, Farmers, and Fires
Some of the most vital Texas have been going through it. Ranchers and farmers have been seriously affected by the recent Texas wildfires and naturally, residents in this great state are banding together to help out those who keep our economy running.
Cuero Man Steps Up
Tee Smith of Cuero, Texas was inspired by his fellow Texans who he saw organizing collection sites and donations for cattlemen and farmers that have been affected by the wildfires.
Smith has now set up his own donation site where people can donate much-needed supplies. He will gather up all donations and drive down to Brown County where the supplies and donations will be distributed to local cattlemen who need them.
Smith is asking for our communities help. Donations will be accepted at Tractor Supply in Cuero. You can order online through the Tractor Supply website, just add Tee Smith as the pickup person.
Here are some of the main supplies needed:
- Animal Feed
- Water Trough
- Animal Wound Care
- Cattle Cubes
- Protein Tubs
- Chicken Scratch
Smith is also asking for fencing material to help rebuild ranches and farms whose fences were damaged.
- T Post
- Barb Wire
- Stay Wire
- Steel Pipe for H Braces
Any amount of donations will directly help our fellow Texas cattlemen, ranchers, and farmers. If you would like to make a monetary donation you can Venmo @Arahlea or contact Tee Smith at 325-647-8250.
