Major Dairy Queen Closures Hit Texas, Is Yours on the List?
Dairy Queen made its iconic statement by flipping Blizzards upside down right in front of you but now, the only thing they'll be flipping is the lights off.
25 Dairy Queen Texas locations are closing down this year, which are owned by the same franchise owner. However, all is not lost, the franchise owner isn't calling it quits on Dairy Queen altogether, just these select locations.
“The franchise owner continues to own and operate other DQ restaurants in Texas," a Dairy Queen spokesperson said in a statement.
CLOSING DOWN, AUCTIONING OFF
The locations will shut down and all equipment will be auctioned off.
“Multiple Dairy Queen locations are closing their doors and must liquidate the assets,” the auction listing reads. “Buyers are responsible for disassembling and removing purchased assets and must bring their own help and tools.”
